TACO BELL SKILLS CHALLENGE 2017

As it indicates the name of the challenge, is a challenge in which the players will have to show their abilities with theball through a series of tests. The contest has a format of elimination in which there take part 8 players divided into two sides, a side in which there are the Guards and another side in which are the Bigs.

This year participate by the side of the Guards: 

Gordon Hayward (Utah Jazz) VS John Wall (Washington Wizards)

Isaiah Thomas (Boston Celtics) VS Devin Broker (Phoenix Suns)

And by the other side (Bigs):

Kristaps Porzingis (New York) VS DeMarcus Cousins (Sacremento Kings)

Anthony Davis (Pelicans) VS Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets)

The skills challenge consists of realizing a zigzag in possession of the ball along the court, introduce the ball in a receptacle from a 6 meters distance approximately with a chest pass, once introduced run to the opposite basket to realise a lay up and then run again to the other basket to make a triple, the fastest player who realizing it correctly will win.

After the first challenge the semifinals are: 

Gordon Hayward (Utah Jazz) VS Isaiah Thomas (Boston Celtics)

Kristaps Porzingis (New York) VS Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets)

Against any prognosis Isaiah Thomas the big favorite remained eliminated after an exciting crossing in which none of two candidates were managing to note down the shot of three.By the other side, Kristaps Porzingis won without lot of difficulties.

The final was at the end Gordon Hayward (Utah Jazz) VS Kristaps Porzingis (New York)

Latvias´ giant Porzingis won the final and showed the world that inspite of his 2. 21m of height he is a big triple thrower and he was proclaimed the winner of the Taco Bell Skills Challenge 2017.
